Vtg Trek 1000 Aluminum Men's Bicycle Road Bike Blue As Is

Welcome to our company, "The Bomb Shelter", one of the nation's largest stores of its kind selling vintage and antique items from all eras. Pricetronic local pickup is available during business hours, please contact if you need this option! HERE WE HAVE: A vintage (c1980s..1990s..00s? I'm not sure!) Trek bicycle! The bike is marked as a model "1000" and "ALUMINUM".  There's a number on the bottom of the bike that looks to be "885944" which I thought may be a serial number, but it isn't recognized by the Trek website. There are some other numbers that aren't visible to try to identify the year.. Will ship partially disassembled to fit in a bicycle box! CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or restoration! Needs TLC & service; we left it as found besides cleaning some dust/dirt off of it. I'm not sure what all is original on it or not. Corrosion spotting, scuffs, scratches, and paint loss scattered throughout. Seat has tears to it.
Bike is untested. The tires are flat and have a lot of cracking and tears to the rubber, in need of replacement. Both wheels spin when I walk the bike forward. The handlebar tape has worn away and is lifting up in spots. The bike pictured is what you'll get, so please see photos!
*5/4/23* MEASUREMENTS: The seat tube measures approximately  21 1/2" long from the center of the crank to the top of the blue portion of the seat tube. The rims measure about 25" in diameter. If you need any other measurements, please send a message! SHIPPING:
