Titanium Bottom Bracket (Square Taper) with Aluminum Cups (Perfect/Smooth Bearings) Rare Frame from the mid 1980's, used only as a TT Bike Description : Very nice classic Vitus frameset , main tubes of carbon-fibre and kevlar, bonded to Dural/Aluminum lugs which were cast. All the other tubes are Aluminum-alloy, Vitus frames were drawn to be an interference fit with the corresponding lug so that the bond was mechanical as well as chemical. The Carbone Plus Carbon frames were launched in the 1980s, in collaboration with TVT, Ateliers de la Rive and Angenieux-CLB.
