Pretty Rare Boys Vintage Schwinn Streamliner Balloon Tire Tank Bike. Chicago Built-1952 Serial# E41812 on dropout 24” Wheels **Though not pictured, the bike will include a Schwinn black S seat. The bike has been stored for decades, nothing appears seized however should get a good once over tune up and it would cruise. Solid and straight Schwinn frame, no cracks/issues noted. Is weathered but solid, no soft spots noted, no major corrosion. Missing Tank & headlight/trusses. The cosmetic condition is obvious, is weathered and faded with a great patina look. Solid straight chaingaurd that shows slight faded/weathering paint. Original fenders are solid, few minor dings, surface rust, weathering bot still good. Original handlebars show surface rust/weathering as do the grips. Pretty good chrome on the Crankset, no major pitting but some surface rust, bearings feel ok, though the bike has been sitting and should get a tune up, includes original pedals with some wear expected. Original Schwinn Tubular white rims, both have surface oxidation, front has more, both appear solid though. Both spin, though not perfect as there are loose spokes, couple missing, so once the spokes are addressed, should ride fine. New Departure coaster brake feels fine. The vintage 24” Tractor Grip tires show some weathering/wear but appear to be fine for awhile. Overall a pretty rare almost all original boys 24” Schwinn Streamliner. Give it a tune up and ride as is, or would be a great start for a full restoration. please study pictures for best description. Please ask questions if needed prior to bidding.
