The Aluminum Racks were used on the Earliest Middleweight Cruiser Bikes mid 1950s to the end of the 1950s, possibly into the 1960s. The Chrome racks were used on middleweights from 1960s and on. You need to do your Research and Determine if the rack is right for you. All Rack selections have some rust from shelf life and age and should clean up, Check photos for your selection. If your Selection says "NOBO" that means No Original Bolt and a Stainless Steel Bolt, Nut, and Washer was added to complete the rack, the Roughest racks will be NOBO.
