Vintage Eddy Merckx 58cm - steel classic.
Mid 1980s hand made in Belgium classic - (update - I have learned from an Eddy Merckx Steel Bike Facebook group that this bike was professionally made Oct/Nov 1985 based on the serial number on the BB). The seat tube is 58 cm center to center, 59 cm center to top. I’ve had it since 2016. I built it with a 7 speed Shimano 600 drive train (modern cartridge BB) Dura Ace 7400 pedals. Mavic 501 hubs laced to Mavic SUP rims (ceramic rear). Conti GP 4000 tires. Dura Ace seat post, Fizik Arione Saddle. A modern pair of Cinelli Criterium bars & vintage 1A stem. I have done 100k rides on it but it has been my around town bike and now it’s your turn to enjoy it! The bars are not wrapped, sale comes with NIB white Cinelli cork tape. I want them to be bright white for you. I’m happy to wrap them if you want 🤙
I will ship it using UPS or Bike Flights whichever is cheaper to the contiguous 48 United States, $125 includes box and professional packing. I am open to using your bike travel case if you send it to me postage paid. If you are in AK or HI it will cost more. Local pick up is also available for no fee.
