Vintage Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Expert Frameset with Tange Champion #1 Seamless Double Butted
Chrome-Moly Tubing Up
for sale is a very nice late 1980’s vintage Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Expert road frame set. Fully
lugged construction with high-end Tange Champion
#1 seamless double butted chrome-moly tubes, (every bit on a on a par with Columbus
SL/SP CrMo), with forged horizontal dropouts with adjusters.
Tange chrome-moly fork blades with full-sloping crown and forged dropouts. Headset
and bottom bracket have been cleaned and greased – ready for years of service. Sale
includes micro-adjusting alloy seat post and binder bolt. The
frame alignment is straight with no dents and bents. Cosmetically the original Red & White paint and graphics are in
pretty decent condition considering that age. A number of scuffs and scratches
from normal use, (too many to list
individually but most notably on the chain stays, right fork blade, and right
side if the top tube). Over all I’d rate the original paint and graphic
about an 8½ out of 10, please see pictures. Specifications : Frame : Full Tange Champion
