Vintage Blue 58cm Serotta Club Special Columbus Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage Blue 58cm Serotta Club Special Road / Tour / Racing Bike Frame and Fork. The Size is: Seat tube 57.5cm Center to Center or 59cm Center to Top with a 57cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 162mm. Frame and Fork are Columbus Steel Tubing with Campagnolo Dropouts. The 1" Threaded Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 126m Rear Spacing for 6 and 7 speed drive trains. The serial # is on the inside of the dropout and quite worn, first 2 numbers are un readable # xx28, Oddly it appears to be 4 digit Number which predates current discussions and research and the later serial number system. All I can assume is it's and very early Serotta from Late 1970s or very early 1980s. Used Frame set, seen use, has small ping dents in top tube with no wrinkle, Original Blue Paint, early Serotta with failing decals, Decals were applied over the paint, and weather has wrinkled and cracked them, poor execution from the beginning, but that does mean they can be removed an new decals applied over original paint, that is a bonus, may have scratches & nicks, could use a cleaning & detail, fork may be a replacement as it does not have the S on it. This frame had 700c wheels and tires, Not Included but for wheel size reference, and possibly available in our ebay store.
