Vintage 27"x 1 1/4" Alloy Road Tour Bike Clincher Rims 36 Hole UKAI ? Weinmann Alesa? ( Your Choice Pair or Single from Menu ) This is a Vintage Alloy 27" x 1 1/4" Unknown 36 spoke hole Clincher Rim or Rims off a Vintage Road / Touring Bicycle. Your Choice from the pull down Menu of a Single Rim or a Pair of Rims. This is a Popular Lightweight Rim with a ridge & crease on the side and bump in the middle a few other manufactures made similar rims: Like Early Weinmann Alesa and UKAI rims. I thought these were a Weinmann Rim but they are not stamped an I have had Weinmann that are stamped, Maybe not stamped, Maybe not Weinmann. This Style rim was used on both Raleigh & Schwinn Road Bikes with Nicer Lightweight group sets. Rim is used, in Decent shape, has a few scratches, minimal brake surface wear, may have small dents, pretty clean, used not abused, could used some detailing. Rim is drilled for Schrader valve tubes. The Rims measure approximately 18mm wide inside and about 25mm out side. This 27" rim has ISO or B ead S eat D iameter ( BSD ) 630mm this is a size used on the early road bikes, 27" size was used before 700c wheels became the standard. The 27" rim is a Old abandoned standard that will be harder and harder to find as time goes on, FYI 27" is slightly bigger than 700c. This 27" is NOT the Same as 27Five Mountain Bike size .
