Vintage 1992 Trek 1000 Aluminum Road Frameset Up for sale is a nice vintage 1992 Trek 1000 Aluminum road frame set. Engineered by Trek and made in the USA with ALCOA 6061 T6 tempered heat treated aluminum tubing with tapered aluminum stays. Tange chrome-moly fork with TIG welded uni-crown and forged drop-outs. Frame features internal top tube cable guides, dual bottle mounts, braze-on cable stops, and under bottom bracket cable guide. Headset and bottom bracket have been cleaned and greased – ready for years of service. Sale includes micro adjusting alloy seat post and binder bolt. Frame alignment is straight with no dents or bents. Cosmetically the original “Electric Blue & Black Splash” paint and graphic are in good condition. there are some chips and dings in the paint, (too many to list individually, but notably along the top tube and the inside of the right drop out), please see pictures.
