Vintage 1984 Trek 400 Road Frameset (57cm) Up for sale is a nice vintage Trek road frameset. (Rolling into our shop represented as a 1984 Trek 400, and the serial number and original component seem to support that - however the color and braze-ons that don’t seem to align with the information available on line). Fully lugged construction with Tange 2001 Mangaloy double butted main tubes, high tensile stays, wnd forged horizontal dropouts. Tange chrome-moly fork with sloping crown and forged drop-outs. Braze-on shifter bosses and dual bottle mounts, with under bottom bracket guides. Sale includes headset and seat post binder bolt. Cosmetically the original paint and graphics are in good condition. A number of nicks and scuffs from normal use, (too many to list individually but notably on the right seat stay and left fork blade). The frame appears to have been equipped with top tube cable stop which been removed. Overall I’d rate the condition about an 8½ out of 10, please see pictures.
