Vintage 1980’s Centurion Comp TA Road Racing Bike Time Capsule

The fine item you are considering is a Vintage 1980’s Centurion Comp TA Road Racing Bike Time Capsule. This cool vintage Centurion Comp TA measures 49cm center to center from the center crank to the center of the seat tube top tube junction and 53cm center to center across the top tube. The bike has seen extremely limited use, with the original tires still showing the designs on the center of the tread. While the bike has seen very little riding, the bike’s paint has still been a bit nicked up in storage over the years (see photos), the rubber brake hoods have split from age, the brake pads are a bit dried up and should be replaced and the tires and tubes, while original, if you’re planning on riding the bike, really have to be replaced as well (front tube is not holding air). The bike sports an all original group of Shimano 600 components, gold Araya rims (rims show wear), Suzue hubs, gold links on the chain (!), a Turbo Bernard Hinault saddle and a groovy red anodized Univega bottle cage. The bike is braking and shifting, but really needs a full tune up before riding as it’s been in storage for a very long time. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item.
