Plus size tire: The Trax Fatty is designed to fit larger 27.5 diameter rims. To give those frames that can take a 3+inch tire the chance to get in on the Fatbike action. The Trax Fatty uses an up-scaled version of Vee's popular and successful Trax XC MTB, and Trax CX cyclocross tread pattern.
As a Plus bike tire – the compact center tread with chamfered leading edges is designed to find traction but also roll quickly. The Intermediate blocks are well positioned to provide a smooth transition to the well supported edge blocks.
The Trax Fatty has a reputation as a great tire for long distance trail rides where maximum comfort is a prerequisite.
Don’t be mistaken though, the Trax Fatty is a joy in the corners, where it communicates traction and trail feel well allowing you to take yourself further and harder into the turns.
