All bikes are given a basic cleaning and carefully inspected for damage and wear, tested for full functionality, and packed with great care in custom-made double-wall bike boxes. Only minor assembly and minor adjustment (if any) are required before you are ready to hit the street or trail. See tips at the very bottom of the page if you are new to assembling a bike. This is about as close as you can get to going back in time and buying a quality Made in USA Trek mountain bike This original 2004 Trek 4500 WSD (Women's Specific Design) mountain bike is in superb condition with hardly any wear Although it was sold as a women's bike there are no markings to indicate that so it will work equally well for men or teens boys or girls as well Although most manufacturers have moved on to bigger wheel sizes, they do still equip their smallest bikes with 26" wheels just like this one as that is an easier size to handle for smaller framed riders This bike is Disc Brake Ready as well with mounting points on the fork and frame as well as the cable routing attachments 14" XS extra small frame (see below for full measurements) Pearl White and Baja Blue Made in USA out of Alpha Superlight Aluminum tubing custom butted seamless drawn Great shape as shown with very low miles, a few minor scuffs and scrapes, one grip has a small tear on the end, seat has a couple small patches at the rear (they do not come in contact with the rider) It has quality components including Rock Shox Judy TT suspension fork, Shimano 170mm crankset, Shimano Alivio Front Derailleur, Shimano Deore Rear Derailleur, Bontrager Crowbar riser handlebar, Promax V brakes and levers, Bontrager Sport seatpost, Bontrager saddle, Matrix 750 double wall wheels, Bontrager Jones ACX 26 x 2.2 tires, Shimano 3x8 speed trigger shifters. You will need to install the handlebar, seatpost, front wheel, and pedals, and sometimes the rear derailleur and stem. If you have never assembled a bike before there are many videos available on how to do it; REI has a good video on Youtube titled 'How to Assemble Your Bike at Home'.
