Trek 1100 Aluminum Frame Set with ALCOA 6061 T6 Heat Treated Tubing Up for sale is a very nice 1990 vintage Trek 1100 Aluminum road frame set. Built with Trek/ALCOA 6061 T6 heat treated aluminum alloy with tapered aluminum stays and forged drop outs. Chrome-moly fork with sloping crown and forged drop outs with eyelets. Frame features internal brake cable routing with braze-on dual bottle mounts, shifter bosses, pump peg and chain hanger. Headset and bottom bracket have been cleaned and greased – ready for years of service. Sale includes a nice micro-adjusting alloy seat post with recessed binder bolt. This frame is nice and straight with no dents and bents. Cosmetically the original “Black with Bright Blue” paint and graphics are in really nice condition. A few small marks from normal use, (too many to list individually but notably on the right seat stay and some marks along the top tube), please see pictures.
