Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of Sun Equalizer 23 Red 26" MTB wheel set laced with Shimano Deore M525 Quick Release 6-Bolt Disc Hubs. The Sun Equalizer rim has a 23.1mm outer and 17mm inner width designed for cross country (XC) MTB riding. Shimano Deore M525 6-Bolt Disc are Quick Release, front = 9mm x 100mm, rear = 10mm x 135mm, and feature an extremely durable loose ball bearing design.  They offer a light weight design, yet have strong internals meant to hold up. These hubs are not thru-axle compatible. The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes They are built up with Black Sapim Leader Stainless Steel 14g Spokes and chrome plated brass Nipples.  This wheel set would have been categorized back in the day as All Mountain.  Meaning that even though it was XC ready, it was strong enough for more.  Built with Deore hubs that will last, these wheels offer a really solid value. This auction is for the above listed wheel set and includes rim tape (installed) and Quick Release levers. These wheels are NOT tubeless ready, but they do come with rim tape installed. Wheel set weight is approximately 2040g for the pair. (920g Front/1120g Rear)

We do little things that make a lasting difference, like seating spoke heads against the hub flanges with our own proprietary tools, so that spoke tension doesn’t dramatically change as soon as you put weight on your new wheels the first time you try them out. We stress relieve the spokes multiple times, to help the spokes seat properly against one another and the hub flanges.  The use of high quality lubricants on spoke threads and on nipples helps our wheels last longer, and makes them more serviceable.  We have professional grade equipment in which to check tension and wheel trueness, far more precise than what is available to the regular bike shop. **ALL WHEELS MUST BE SHIPPED, NO LOCAL PICK-UP AVAILABLE**
