Lovely war era Schwinn New World, ladies step-through frame. 20" frame measured center of BB to top of seat cluster. 26" S-6 wheels.
Superb fenders and chainguard. New Departure skiptooth hub and sprocket. Coaster brake. Lovely Mesinger saddle and Torrington bars. Original grips in good shape, though the left grip is slightly loose and turns on the bar.
Extremely nice, clean example in largely original condition. Look at that lovely pin striping and box lining! Tires look to have been replaced years ago, otherwise original as far as i can tell. No dents, cracks, rewelds, etc. Paint is very nice with light wear. Downtube has a few scratches and scrapes. Chrome is great. Tires dry and cracking slightly but hold pressure no problem. A super fun bike to ride. Truly a blast from the past.
A beautiful machine in goldilocks condition, perfectly road worthy, while also being right at home in a museum or collection. Brings a smile to your face while riding. Heck it brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.
