Salsa Ala Carte vintage bike frame NOS.
This is my long time build that never got completed. The one photo shows roughly how far the build ever got. ( YOU ARE BUYING THE FRAME ONLY ). The other parts I have sold separately. The rear dropout has had a wheel in it at one time. Mostly just to hang it. I’m not desperate for the money just time to be realistic that I really don’t need another bike. Please don’t insult me with low offers.
This a steel frame , I believe Reynolds tubing.
Made in the USA. Most of the older Salsa Frames were made in the Waterford / Gunnar factory.
Definitely was made in the USA before they started making them overseas.
I believe this is a 2000 or 2001 frame. I have a 1999 ( well worn and tattered ) catalog that is included with the frame.
Please view all photos. There are several paint chips and one downtube decal is scuffed up. Several of the rest are cracking from age. It’s been moved several times. I tried to be careful.

- 135 mm rear spacing. ( QR )
- 27.2 mm. Seatpost.
- Disc or V-brake
- 26” Wheels
- QR flip lock seat collar included.
- Tequila Green is the color according to the catalog.
- 68mm bb shell.
This is a really nice NOS frame. You’ll be hard pressed to come across another one any time soon. Could be turned into a pretty sweet gravel bike. Lots of nice details. Head tube reinforcement ring , gusseted down tube. And a real head badge. If you like it , now’s your chance. This will be professionally packaged bye my local bike shop.
