This old briggs animal came in as a trade in and I just didnt want to simply sell it so i decided to look into it further. Im kind of glad i did because even though it was in wonderful outright condition it did have ring rust around the bore and would not have lasted to long as a result. It does NOT have a PVL ignition system as pictured so i am not sure if it would have been legal for wka or nka rules anyway but it doesnt matter because its not built to rules much anymore anyway. The block has been bored .020 over New gaskets New 20 pound valve springs New piston and rings New billet ARC rod Carb was gone though (this is a methanol engine) Carb was worked over larger then stock Dyno AN002 cam (common to NKA or WKA rules) The head had a mild port job done Milled head .070 for more compression 3 angle valve job And so many more little things This engine is not intended for "rules" karting but that is your choice, it will NOT pass tech. Please see picture of carbs so you can see the comparison of stock side by side with worked over. THIS IS A METHANOL ENGINE PLEASE ASK IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE MAINTENANCE REQUIRED USING THAT FUEL. If the maintenance is not done it will NOT run long and I will not stand behind it if you dont maintain it correctly under any circumstances, trust me I can see if you dont when I take it apart.
