EVEN THE INFO IS HARD TO FIND!! info sent to me online from the frames designer!: C&S distributing a Bmx wholesale company bought the rights to build Bmx frames using the Kuwahara name. C&S no longer wanted to pay Kuwahara the licensing fee so they rebranded the frame and fork as Primo. Primo was C&S house brand. See attached page from American BMXer magazine. BTW they missed spelled my last name. It’s Kerr. New message from: KERR Christian I think your description is good. It tells the story and does not deceive anyone.. The production frame & forks were built by B&E manufacturing. I had the first 5 prototypes built for the interbike trade show. Arc n spark made them. They were building my frames and forks, Rumblefish at the time. C&S paid me for the design and were supposed to pay me a royalty on every frame sold. That was the deal at least. I never got my royalties. I never got a frame either. Somebody messaged me that the kw. had a flat brake bridge and kuwahara stamped into the rear dropouts but I looked at all the 91-92 kw on Bmx museum none had a flat bridge. I could not see the stamping either. The only difference I saw was the primo had a bigger hole in the wishbone tube. BTW c&s called the kw the “championship series”, I would have called it the “Fast Back” because of the way I did the wishbone. Your frames looked cool.(hitmanbikesinc) I don’t know if you ever seen the Rumblefish but that was my brand I started in 1990. I got a ton of press back then. I got two covers on Bmx plus in just a few months. One was the test. 5 pages and a picture on the cover saying “The most radical Bmx bike ever” and the other was “Project featherweight” plus had me build the lightest pro bike ever made. It came out at 18 lbs 6 oz. cover and 5 pages. Also Bicycle Guide did a story in the “Hot Tubes” section of there magazine. It’s the only story they had done an a Bmx bike. LEGEND!
