Men’s Prewar Schwinn Motorbike Cruiser 1930’s Balloon Tire Tank Bike Project.
19” Frame

Had been hanging on the wall of a rural WI hardware store/barn for the last 3-4 decades after it closed.
I Left it as found a decade ago, it’s a great start for a full restoration or custom project build.
Solid steel prewar frame is in pretty good condition for its age, obviously weathered/aged but no corrosion or major rust, etc. there is one small indent on the left rear seat stay thats from a generator light that was tightly attached. Doesn’t affect the frame, see photos.
Obvious chrome condition throughout. Original handlebars are still solid, minor bend on the center bar. Grips are aged. Very cool & solid long Springer saddle, just needs new covering/padding.
All bearings feel good, nothing appears seized.
I assume the front 27” wheel isn’t original, appears to have been off a racing road bike such as a paramount from the same era. Rear 26” with skiptooth bendix coaster brake may be a decade newer than the bike, unsure, it’s how I found the bike.
Great look & a big straight bar frame that really stands out. Pictures tell all, if not, please ask.
