NOS Parts are Un Used but may show wear or Age From Shelf and Shop Life. Used Parts are Used and still Decent and could use some cleaning, may have rust, items with multiples available are graded the same and picture may or may not be the one your getting. New are New Sturmey Archer Parts, available today, unfortunately the New Parts often prove to be more expensive than NOS parts options. Axle Nuts : Vintage Sturmey Archer Hubs have a Left and Right Nuts, although the thread is the same. The "RSI" Right Side / Indicator Chain side, is the long nut with angled end and with the window to see adjustment of the indicator chain. The "LS Left Side nut is usually just a Regular Hex Nut, There is a NOS Left Side with window and a completely open end, this Left Side Nut Specialty is not for indicator chain side, it's is for Sturmey archer hubs with a indicator pole coming the left side. We also have NOS Serrated Axle Washers. Indicator Chains : There are Basically 2 sizes in the Vintage Sturmey Archer Hub World. Short Axles use a Mark 1 and Long Axles use a Mark 2. Both can work in either axle but if you use the wrong size the axle nut indicator window does not work for adjustment. There are other indicator chains for some of the rare and unique hubs that we do not have. We have a NOS Plastic Indicator Chain & Nut Cap Clips : There are 2 Size Clip Clamps in the Vintage Sturmey Archer World. There is a 1" or 25.4mm typically used on Vintage Schwinn Bikes and others with 1" tubing. Then there's 1 1/8" or 28.6mm Used on Raleigh Bikes or Raleigh Brand Bikes Like: Hercules, Robin hood, Triumph and others the list goes on. 1 1/8" / 28.6mm are used on touring bikes with Lugged Construction. Clips are Pulley Clips and Fulcrum Clips. Pulley Clips are for cable pass through or for guidance. Fulcrum Clips are for cable housing stops. All of our Clips are USED and possibly have rust and could use a cleaning. Some have Original Bolts, Some have new bolts, some have no hardware. No Hardware is probably the Dregs. Complete Fulcrum Clips will include a New Plastic Fulcrum Cable Sleeve. As Shown. We also have New Plastic FC Sleeves Available alone. Clips can be used on any correct size application you want, but there are different styles ranging from Early, to Mid, Late, and New models. Early had unique one side Keyed Nuts, Mid had Regular Nuts and Bolts, Late had the Keyed Round Nut, and New has Keyed Round Nut and the Use of the Chinese Combo Screw. We also sell a New Rear Fulcrum Clip for the smaller tube of rear stays, that has approximately and effective clamp range for 7/8" to 5/8" tubing.
