For sale and pictured above is this VINTAGE NOS Schwinn Cruiser Springer Fork to fit 26" Balloon Tired Cruiser Bicycles. The finish on the fork is chrome.
Steerer Tube Dimensions: 1" Diameter, Threaded. The steerer tube is uncut and its full factory length is 7 inches. (as pictured)

This is an OEM Schwinn fork. Made in the USA by the Schwinn Bicycle Company Parts Sales Division Chicago, Illinois 60647
I purchased this fork in the early 1980's. It has lived in my garage in its original box and has never been installed. Box was opened upon purchase to inspect and has since sat gathering dust. My understanding was that these forks were produced sometimes in the 1970's. That is what I was told by the regional Schwinn rep at the time I inquired about purchasing this and other classic Schwinn items.
Condition is NOS in its Original Box. Box hasn't aged well. Fork looks just the same as when I first unboxed years ago. Fork has never been installed or modified.
Yes, this fork is the same model/vintage fork that we see floating around in listings here on Ebay for $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 if you can imagine. Get it much cheaper here. The box mine is in might not be as pretty...but the fork inside is minty fresh at a fraction of the price. Take a look.
