Made from Niner’s strong and lightweight yet comfortable “Race Day Optimized” carbon fiber, the frame is built for more than just racing. The RDO carbon fiber by Niner is plenty stiff and strong, but it’s comfortable for long days in the saddle. A matching RDO carbon fork up front takes the edge off bumps.
As well, the RLT 9 RDO wears a full set of features, including multiple mounts for bags, bottles, fenders, cargo racks and other accessories. In fact, Niner makes custom fitted, bolt on frame bags to eliminate the need for Velcro straps, which can abrade your paint. All in all, this is a perfect bike for everything from gravel racing to world touring.
If you prefer larger tires to accommodate rougher terrain, Niner has you covered. This frame will fit 700c tires up to 50c in width, and 650b tires up to 2.0” in width. Fitted to the frame with a 12x100 thru axle up front and 12x142 in the back, plus industry-standard flat mount disc brakes, the RLT 9 RDO can accommodate all contemporary gravel wheel standards.
For anyone who prefers a singlespeed drivetrain, Niner’s PF30 bottom bracket makes it easy. By installing a eccentric bottom bracket insert, such as Niner’s own BioCentric30, this bike can be pared down to a single cog and chainring for the ultimate in simplicity and light weight.
