Hello, I have for sale a brand new, unridden Brompton T Line
Urban (the 4-speed model) with the “Mid” handlebars (the riser bars, not the flat bars). I purchased the T Line
a little over a month ago, after waiting some time for availability. When I brought it home, my wife made the good point that I already have several premium bicycles, including other Bromptons and a titanium bicycle, and that I could probably put the funds to better use elsewhere. She had a point.
Four-speed T Lines sell for $5,500, plus tax. That comes to $5,843.75 in MA and $5,988.13 in NY. However, they are currently sold out, in stores and online. And it's not clear when new ones will be available. If you want to make sure you have one in time for Christmas, here it is.
This is *not* a demo bike or a blemished one, not one that's been sitting around. It's brand new, with tag, in unridden condition. Its wheels have never touched the ground outside. It can be registered in your name to take advantage of Brompton's 7-year warranty.
Please note that if you purchase a Brompton from a Brompton dealer, as I did this one, it will always be out of the box. This is because dealers are required to perform a PDI ("pre-delivery inspection") on every new bike that leave the store. This involves checking that all the parts are aligned and tightened. I do have an original Brompton box, however, and I will repackage the bike in this box when shipping. I have packed and shipped many Bromptons in the past and have never had a problem.
You're also welcome to see the bike in person. I live in Cambridge, between MIT and Harvard.
If eBay is showing a high shipping price to your address, I could provide you with a quote through BikeFlights, which, in my experience, is significantly cheaper than regular USPS, FedEx, or UPS. (In case you're not familiar with BikeFlights, it's a bike-only shipping service that is handled behind the scenes by UPS.) The bike is from a non-smoking household. If you have questions, please let me know. Thanks for reading!
