The Mitas City Tour & Trek CLASSIC V69 HOOK 700 x 40C ANTIPUNCTURE + REFLEX bicycle tire universal tread pattern is designed for riding on poor and unpaved surfaces.
The almost smooth central part of the tread ensures less rolling resistance when riding on the road.
This tire uses these technologies -
REFLEX -- The Excellent properties of the reflective stripe provide a high light reflection during dusk and dawn, night, fog, rain and low light conditions for the whole tire life. Mitas bicycle tires with this reflective stripe carry world-wide valid certificate E4 8R 002058 ensuring the quality of such tire production according to the standards and parameters. The reflective stripe on the sidewall is a distinctive safety esthetic element increasing the utility and value of the product.
ANTIPUNCTURE SYSTEM (APS) -- A band of approx. 1 mm thick special rubber placed between the tread and the carcass decreases the possibility of having a puncture (high structural strength and hardness). It increases the rigidity and strength of the tire crown, and decreases the tire drag while maintaining the adhesive force.
