Kona Cinder Cone Hardtail MTB with New Grips and New Maxxis DTH Tires - black If we had to pick one type of bike to do everything, it might look exactly like this Kona. Big-volume DTH tires roll smoothly on pavement and grip enough on the dirt and gravel. The 3x9 drivetrain can handle anything, and the lightweight aluminum frame is efficient and the RockShox Judy fork takes the edge off the bumps and potholes. It's got brand-new tires, grips and shifters paired with Shimano Deore LX drivetrain including cranks. The fork and frame could take disc brakes if you want to go that way. Mavic X139 wheelset is lightweight and keeps you rolling. This should fit someone 5'11 to 6'2" or so. We love Kona bikes, and don't expect this one to last long. ( used, this bike is in Good shape for the vintage. Some minor scrapes and scuffs here and there with some small paint chips in certain areas. There are paint scrapes near the bottom bracket. The bike is mechanically sound, shifts and catches all gears and the brakes work well.  Mechanically, the bike is in Very Good condition and upon re-assembly by a qualified mechanic, the bike should be ready to ride.
