PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS OR PURCHASING THIS ITEM. Up for sale is this used set of Forte Aluminum/Carbon Fiber bar ends. These have a Aluminum clamping area with Carbon Fiber handles. The handles have some surface scratches that run from top to bottom. These face the outside and are hardly noticeable by along the outside of the bar end which is from normal use and riding in the woods. The scratches are not to noticeable by feel but are visible. The other sides of the bar ends look in great condition except do the scratched area on both. The scratches look worse than they actually are especially in the pics where I used a flash. Nothing major and are only cosmetic and do not affect the functionality of the bar end at all. I used these with the Carbon Forte handlebar that I currently have posted for sale in my store in another listing. I bought these about 17+ years ago for a single speed mountain bike I built. I ran these for a few seasons before ditching bar ends altogether and just going with wider handle bars. However I did use these on a single speed road bike I built and they work as designed. Makes climbing or riding up hill much easier by turning your flat bar into a bull horn bar if you will. As you can see from the pics provided that this are in great condition.
