Bought the bike NOS. Great shape! Rode only 10 times. Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra 1992 Columbus SLX Tubing Full Campagnolo C-Record. Size 59ct. Used, *Bought the bike New Old Sock. Rode it about 10 times on short summer rides. Solid and smooth ride and SLX tubing. I added wider 46cm Nitto handle bars and a Nitto 110mm stem to give more power out of the saddle. The 0 degree stem creates a slight rise for more comfortable riding and the Nitto Noodle bars are very comfortable too. I am 6-2 and weight 218, so the bike is great for bigger riders. More comfortable than any carbon bikes I have ridden and the ride is supple and solid. I am mostly selling the bike due to my aging low back, so just not riding as much. The Vetta 200 saddle is iconic and hard to find in this good of shape and very comfortable too. Beautiful frame. Some minor chips, see the pics. In the late 1980’s and the early 1990’s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of super light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. The SLX was a “superbutted” Cyclex steel tubeset, designed for professional use and famous for its helical reinforcements on the ends of the tubes’ inside walls. * Bottom Bracket number X D-1032 * Columbus SLX Tubing * Full Campagnolo C-Record * Frame size 59 center top * 56 cc top tube * Nitto Noodle 177 Drop Handlebar 26mm Clamp 46cm Width 383g Silver Aluminum *Campagnolo Premium Bar end plugs–Brevetti internazionali logo, all aluminum and adjustable. *New Deda Bar Tape. *Nitto Dynamic II 0 Degree 110 stem (Made in Japan) * Vetta 200 saddle * 170mm crank arm length * 42-52 chainrings * Maillard 6 speed freewheel * Sedis Pro chain *Mavic GP4 Tubular Rims *Vittoria Tubular Tires * 1980s OMAS Superlegerra aluminum water -bottle cages
