This is a vintage 1980 Schwinn Le Tour road bike frameset in Strawberry Red, that is totally custom and completely rebuilt into a fantastic single speed commuter bike, featuring a very rare and tall frameset in great condition with some cosmetic wear but rides excellent.
Features include Mavic France and Matrix USA rims with Continental Super Sport 700x32c tires, Shimano Japan 1055 hubs, with the rear hub converted to single speed with a Shimano 18T freewheel cog. Gear ratio is 52/18t (2.88). This very tall frame has a stand over height of 34 & 5/8”. Green Dia-Compe front brake with Lee Chi brake lever.
Vintage Japan Super Maxy crankset, Wellgo pedals, black straps, vintage Brooks comfort saddle, North Road style riser bars, muddy brown Oury grips, with a back rack installed for additional transport.

This vintage classic will be disassembled for shipment in a pro bike box with same day handling time.
