18" Specialized Stumpjumper Vintage Mountain Bike Frameset Early

Early 1980's (1982-1983?) Specialized Stumpjumper 26" wheel vintage mountain bike frameset with the original bi-plane rigid fork.  Lugged double butted tubing, made in Japan. Includes the original Specialized headset, fluted seatpost, Specialized seatpost clamp, and a full set of the original Shimano canti brakes. Size is 17.5" (center of crank to center of top tube), 18" (center of crank to top of top tube), 18.25" (center of crank to top of seat tube). Top tube measures 21.5" from center of the head tube to center of the seat tube. Rear dropout spacing is 125. Takes 26" wheels.  1" headset. Takes cantilever or v-brakes.  Derailleur and bb threads in great shape.  Headset turns fine, seatpost comes right out.  Original bi-plane fork. Frame has long horizontal rear dropouts with axle adjusters.  Original paint and decals. USED with lots of wear, some light rust in some areas. There is a slight inward bend on the drive-side seat stay down by the dropout, fairly straight- forward to straightened it.  It wasn't a garage queen.  Includes exactly what you see in the pictures.  If you have any specific questions regarding this item, please ask and get your answer before bidding.
