2000 Schwinn Peloton Pro 50cm Road Bike. I purchased this frame NOS from a bike shop that was going out of business. This era of Schwinn was one of the last gasps of a once great company before it sunk into BSO hell. Reynolds 853 is an amazing tube set that rides like 753 for a fraction of the cost. This is a bit of a retro build with its 8 speed Shimano 600 Tricolor group set. I used a 50/36 compact double 170mm crankset with a 110 BCD and Hollowtech 2 bottom bracket. The front derailleur is a Tiagra FD-4403, rear derailleur is a Tricolor RD-6401, shifters are ST-6400 the left is a triple which allows for a center position for trimming the front derailleur, cable housings are Jagwire braided, brakes are BR-6403 dual pivot, stem is by Richey, fork is 1” Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon, wheels are Mavic laced to Shimano 600 hubs both seem to be the same but one has a small Wheelsmiths tag the other has a SUP decal, Both are in great condition, tires are Continental Grand Prix 4000 s II 25mm, saddle is a Specialized Phenom 143. This is a solid steel bike that will last a good long time. It’s pretty light and rides like a dream. There is some paint wear on the bottom of the non-drive side chainstay and at the drive side dropout. See pictures for details on condition.
