This is a 2000 Independent Fabrications Planet X
cyclocross bike in the red, white and blue stars - very rare. Wheelset is built by Wheelsmith with Mavic Open Pro rims with Ultegra Hubs, shifting all Ultegra, Brakes are Avid cantilever, Cranks and BB are Ritchey, cassette is also Ultegra Chris King headset, San Marco Saddle, 3T stem and Bars, True Temper Carbon Fork and Michelin Cyclocross Tires which are original. Paint is perfect no scratches or chips or dings, wheels are damage free as are the cranks and bars. I also have new red replacement Cinelli cork bar tape included. The bike performs flawless and if you appreciate a steel handmade bike this one is ideal, gravel, cyclocross or road biking this bike can do it all and with very forgiving geometry. The measurements of the bike are as follows, the from the bottom shell of the BB to the ground is 11 inches the top bar is 51 cm measuring from the front of the seat tube to the back of the head tube, the seat tube measured from the top of the BB shell to the top bar is 50 cm, the stand over height measured at 90 ° through the center of the BB to the top tube is 31 inches. I am 5'8" and have a 30 in inseam and the bike fits me great. I normally ride a 52 or 54 road bike.
