1997 Trek MultiTrack hybrid bicycle made in the U.S.A. with full  -- frame and fork -- CroMoly tubing, using True Temper OX double butted steel within the main triangle and straight gauge CroMoly for the stays and fork.
Frame size is 48cm which is the 19" size.
This frame has bosses and threaded holes at the fork and rear triangle for front and rear fenders, and for a rear rack.
Most of the OEM components are still on the bike, see component listing below.
Presently running smaller cross-section and lighter weight 23mm tread width tires on the stock 700c wheels for faster riding, but if one desires plusher riding, this frame has clearance to mount 700x35c non-knobby tires with fenders, and at least 700x38c non-knobby tires without fenders.
Present standover height with the 23mm tires is approximately 29", measured about halfway along the sloping top tube -- see photo for standover measurement position.
Overall condition is good, though there are the usual minor abrasions, nicks and wear such as sunfade from two plus decades of use, and bicycle consumables such as brake pads, cables, chain, handgrips and tires could be replaced in the not too distant future should one choose to do so.
At present, however, there is no imminent need to replace any of these parts -- this bicycle rides very well as is.
This Trek 730 MultiTrack's present weight is approximately 26 lbs.
