1993 Trek 8000 Mountain Bike 17.5 Frame 26 Wheel Rim Brake Easton E9 Here is a used 1993 Trek 8000 aluminum mountain bike frame made in Waterloo, Wisconsin. Bonded aluminum frame construction using Easton E9 ProGram aluminum tubing. Measures 19” from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube (17.5” from center of BB to center of top tube), 22.5” along top tube center to center, and headtube is 3.75" long. Fits 26 inch wheel size and is compatible with rim brakes only. Frame is in good condition with no dents—there is a handlebar paint chip on the top tube and typical cosmetic wear marks from age and use. The headset bearings are missing but the cups have been left installed to help protect the frame in shipping. Square taper bottom bracket is in fair condition. Needs a bolt or quick release lever for the seat tube clamp.
