Purchased this 1993 Klein Rascal (18" seat tube) from the original owner's daughter last year, cleaned it up, and hung it up on the wall.
It is almost all original catalog spec except for the tubes and saddle.
XT rear derailleur, seatpost/DX headset, pedals, and hubs/LX shifters, brakes, cranks, and cassette, Sun Chinook rims. It has a few chips and scuffs from being used and some paint fading common to these. I
did note some bubbling or roughness to the paint under the fork. This is a mechanical spring fork, so no air leaks. It works well enough for 30 years old, but this is probably stuff you want to ride very gently or keep on display. The QR o-rings are dry cracked like all of them eventually do. Probably not many miles based on drivetrain wear and original tires being so little worn. It's a good, honest survivor! Most importantly, NO CRACKS OR DENTS.
