1991 GT Karakoram - vintage mountain bike in Blue Widow color.
Shimano Deore DX and Deore LX components,
Tange 20-inch (center to center) MTB chromoly frame, original black paint w blue widow highlights in pristine condition.
Triple Triangle design with internal cable routing. Needs a new rear brake cable.
The Karakoram was GT's flagship MTB. A level above Tequesta, Timberline, Talera. and Outpost.
Hate to let this one go but I have bike box taking up space and am out of hanger space in the garage.
Yes, I put an older GT saddle from an Team Avalanche on it but the frame and fork are pristine and the components are top notch - this is one I actually ride but I'm not gonna give away my Brooks saddle - so there you go.
Also, to be clear, I'm not some guy who "flips bikes" I'm an ivy educated, retired military guy who loves to ride them, got the whole family into riding during the pandemic, and just bought too many bikes trying to make everyone happy - kids are finicky these days.
Help me clean out the garage.
