This is a 1979 Schwinn SPORT Limited. This is a very rare Schwinn as only 1000 were made. This was the last of the filet brazed frames Schwinn made. The componets are Winemann brakes. GB aluminum handlebars. SCHWINN S stem. SCHWINN S shifters. Schwinn Approved front derailure. SCHWINN Approved Le Tour crank set 170. Atom pedals. Brooks Saddle. Suntour V GT long cage derailure. Looks like a Regina freewheel but I'm not certain. The hubs are Campagnolo Record high flange. The rims are Winemann domed 9aluminum 27 x 1 1/4 Schroeder valve. The tires and tubes are 3 years old and in good condition. I am not sure what componets are original. It looks to me to be a combination of Schwinn Super Sport and Paramount. The bike is in good overall condition and usable as it is. The paint has a multitude of chips and scrapes. The frame has no dents. The serial number on the head tube is EK 800653 which dates the frame to 1974. I also have a nos Sport Limited decal for the top tube. This is a rare Schwinn and prefect for restoration or paint tuch up and ride like it is. The bike will be professionally dismantled and boxed for UPS shipping. Any questions please ask.
