This is truly a unique find that blends the histories of England and the United States cycling culture. A beautiful bike with a rich history. Original owner picked this bicycle up at Bob Jackson’s factory in Leeds England in 1973 with the original Campagnolo Nuovo Record components currently on the bike. Bob Jackson himself greeted the owner and took him to lunch while his bike was being packed for a trans Atlantic trip back to the states. Bicycle was then repainted in 1985 by bicycle industry pioneers Mountain Goat Cycles’s in Chico, CA. Bicycle has been in storage since 2005 and has just been cleaned, lubed and taken for a check up ride. Copies of the original receipt from the Bob Jackson factory available for view along with correspondence from 1985 regarding replacement decals for the new paint. Frame has minor signs of wear and is in great condition considering the age. Comes with matching frame pump.
