Here is an original CHAINGUARD which was removed from a prewar ELGIN balloon tire beach cruiser bicycle. Fits your 1930s-1940s Elgin bicycle. . MAY FIT other bikes such as Shelby, Hiawatha, Hawthorne, Western Flyer, Murray, Monark Cruiser, Super Cruiser, Firestone, Deluxe cruiser, tank bike, JC Higgins, Elgin, Murray, Mercury, Rollfast, Cleveland Welding, Schwinn, Hot Rod, Rat Rod, etc etc etc. This should fit numerous bikes made over many years. This came off a bicycle with 26x2.125" wheels and balloon tires!
These measure approx 23 3/4" from tip to tip. Measures approx 21" from center to center of the 2 mounting points. BE SURE to compare before you buy to be sure this will be right for you!
Painted green at some point. Appears to be black or dark blue underneath? Has a couple dents but is a good look and is a hard to find guard! Great for your shop wall for a future project!
A great item to install on your factory bike or a "rat rod" bike. Would also be cool to put in your display case. These are hard to find and you rarely see them in any condition these days. If you ever think you could use this, do not miss out! Install it on your Murray, JC Higgins, Elgin, Roadmaster, Western Flyer, etc etc etc.
