This is a used but good condition 16" ISO 349 front wheel suitable for a recumbent bike or a folding bike. It has a Shimano Deore quick release front hub and a Sun AT18 rim. It is laced with 24 DT Swiss stainless spokes in a two-cross pattern. The wheel is true and the hub bearings spin smoothly. I will include a new LItepro front skewer.
Eyeball the pictures and you can see some wear on the brake track. The wheel is used, but most of the life of the wheel is in front of it. You will get plenty of miles of usage.
Bike wheel, rim, and tire sizing is confusing. Even for people who work in the industry. There are two different and incompatible size wheels that are commonly called "sixteen inch". The smaller size has a 305mm tire bead seat diameter. It was used some years back on the Bike E recumbent. The larger size wheel has a 349mm tire bead seat diameter, and was used on Vision and Lightning recumbent bikes among others. Some folding bikes also use the 16" ISO 349 size wheels. I think Brompton does. Though the Brompton front wheels have a 74mm over locknut width. My wheel has a Shimano hub with the ordinary 100mm over locknut width. My wheel is the larger ISO 349 size.
Make sure you are getting the correct sized wheel for your bike. Get the wrong size and there will be tears and the gnashing of teeth. Hint: the actual diameter of my wheel - rim outer edge to rim outer edge without a tire - is a tiny bit over 14 inches.
